Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To perform accurate horizontal synchronism control by slanting the laser light incidence-side axis of an optical fiber to the optical axis of laser light. CONSTITUTION:The laser light 1 (1a) travels from right to left as a scan is made. The incidence-side end surface 20 of the optical fiber 2 is elliptic when viewed in a direction B and the difference DELTAS' in incidence start position between the scanning beam (when passing through the center) and the scanning beam 1a (when displaced from the center) is smaller than a difference DELTAS in incidence start position. Therefore, the time difference in the rising time of the output signal of a photosensor which detects the scanning beam 1 (1a) through the optical fiber 2 is small, and consequently the shift in the writing start position of image information to a photosensitive body whose synchronism is controlled with the output signal is small. Namely, a jitter phenomenon is reduced. |
