REFLECTION TYPE PHOTO INTERRUPTER

PURPOSE:To detect articles disposed at a plurality of different positions by associating a plurality of detecting means at different detecting positions in the same package. CONSTITUTION:Two sets of photo interrupters 21, 22 each of which has a first light emitting element 17, a first photodetector 18, a second light emitting element 19 and a second photodetector 20 are associated in a package 16. The first interrupter 21 has a first detecting position determined according to the relative positional relationship between the element 17 and the photodetector 18, and the second interrupter 22 has a second detecting position determined according to the relative positional relationship between the element 19 and the photodetector 20. Accordingly, the positions of the articles disposed at different positions can be detected by the interrupters 21, 22.
