ON-LOAD TAP CHANGING TRANSFORMER

PURPOSE:To reduce the sectional area of a close tap winding, and to lower abnormal voltage by inner potential vibrations by connecting a close tap by- winding and a rough tap winding in series and connecting both windings at both ends of a dislocation changer. CONSTITUTION:One part of a close tap winding is used as a close tap by- winding 107, connected in series with a rough tap winding 102 and connected to a dislocation changer 104. The residual section of the close tap winding is employed as a close tap main winding 108, and connected in the same manner as a conventional method. Consequently, number corresponding to taps for the rough tap winding 102 is decreased, tap number in total is reduced, and the number of turns of a high-voltage main winding is increased. Accordingly, the sectional area of the close tap winding is minimized, and abnormal voltage by inner potential vibrations in lowered.
