DRAWING INPUT DEVICE

PURPOSE:To improve the easiness of operation and antinoise property by providing a light emitting source of convergent light for inputting positional coordinate to a semiconductor light positioner and a mechanism that the convergent light of the light emitting source is made incident on a semiconductor light position detector at right angles. CONSTITUTION:One-dimensional PSD 20 and 30 are arranged on the upper side and right side of a drawing board 10 for detecting (x) coordinate and (y) coordinate respectively. A light emitting part 40 that emits convergent light is provided instead of an orthogonal rule at the tip of the arm part of a pantograph 60 to emit a beam of convergent light from the light emitting part 40 to the one-dimensional PSD 20 and 30 respectively. When the arm 60 is moved, light is moved always parallel. Accordingly, the information of a drawing can be inputted to a computer by spreading a drawing on the drawing board 10, tracing the drawing by the light emitting part 40 and inputting necessary positional positional coordinate by depressing an inputting switch 50. Thus, an existing drawing can by inputted to a computer by tracing on the drawing, and in addition, information of any graphic can be inputted, and a digitizer resistant to electromagnetic noise can be obtained.
