DEVELOPER

PURPOSE:To obtain a dense and sharp image high in image density even in the case of using a fine powder toner by using the toner comprising a fine powder of a colored pigment high in powder resistance and good in dispersibility into a synthetic resin as a part or all of the colorant. CONSTITUTION:The toner prevented from deterioration of image density even in the case of low transfer efficiency by the high concentration of the colored pigment can be prepared by (A) weighing out additives, such as the powder of polyester or the like synthetic resin, polyester, the fine colored pigment powder high in powder resistance and good in dispersibility into the polyester or the like, and a powdery electrification controller, mixing them, and converting the synthetic resin into a molten or softened state with a heat kneader or the like to uniformly disperse the coloring pigment and the like, (B) cooling the kneaded mixture to facilitate pulverization, and pulverizing it with a hammer mill, cutter mill, or the like into a powder of 3-5mum diameter, and (C) removing a powder of coarse particle diameter and then, a powder of too fine particle diameter to uniformize the powder in particle diameter.
