CORE WIRE CUTTING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To make the cutting shape of a core wire in a tapering and to cut without any formation of an oxidized film by drawing a core wire to both sides with melting in a gaseous atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:The core wire 12 straightened by a strainer part 11 is fed in a fixed quantity by the first cylinder 13 and chucked by chucking parts 14, 15. In this state a gas is fed by a gas atmosphere feeding device 22 and the cut part of the core wire 12 becomes in ignition melting state with the flow of a current from AC power source 16 as well as being enveloped in a gas atmosphere. In this state when one side of the core wire 12 is drawn to the left direction via the second cylinder 17 and chuck part 14 by the fourth cylinder 19, the core wire 12 is cut in a tapering off. Thereafter the core wire 12 cut by the fifth cylinder 20 is inserted into the hole of a CO tip. The easy insertion into the hole without being oxidized is thus enabled.
