DIGITAL PICTURE DATA TRANSFER DEVICE

PURPOSE:To shorten a data transfer time by connecting directly one memory to other ones through a data bus and controlling data transfer by means of a bus interface. CONSTITUTION:A processed picture signal is transmitted to the data bus 10 through the bus interface (bus I/O) 7, and provisionally stored in the 1st memory 4. The stored picture signal is read out of the 1st memory 4 if necessary, transferred and stored in the 2nd memory 5 through the data bus 10, a bus I/O 8, the data bus 58 and a data selecting part 11. The picture signal stored in the 2nd memory 5 is subjected to picture processing by a muCPU6. Since the system bus 9 of the muCPU6 is not used when the picture signal is transferred between the 1st and 2nd memories 4 and 5, the system bus 9 is not occupied because of the transfer of the picture signal between the 1st and 2nd memories 4 and 5.
