HIGH-PRESSURE DEHYDRATOR OF SLUDGE

PURPOSE:To improve pressing efficiency by providing a press plate and a filter plate freely movably in the vertical and horizontal directions and providing a diaphragm on the surface of the press plate and providing both filter cloth and a protective plate having many through-holes on the surface of the filter plate. CONSTITUTION:An elevator 11 is actuated to ascend a press plate 2 in such a state that the press plate 2 and a filter plate 3 are closely stuck. Sludge is introduced into the inside of a filter chamber 23 through the clearance formed between the press plate 2 and the filter plate 3 via a chute 13 from a sludge hopper 12. When the introduction of sludge is completely finished, the press plate 2 is descended to a descent position by the actuation of the elevator 11. Pressurized liquid is introduced into the inside of a liquid chamber 17 and a diaphragm 16 is uniformly pushed under pressure in the horizontal direction and pressed. Water contained in sludge is passed through filter cloth 26 and a protective plate 25 as filtrate and discharged to the outside of the system through a discharge port 19 via many grooves provided to a filtrate chamber 24.
