Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To restrain deterioration in traveling performance on a snow road accompanying progress in wear by forming plural grooves which are connected to main grooves while having a specified rate of depth to the average depth of said main grooves, into shallow grooves, and providing a recessed and projected part having specified height on the groove bottom part of said shallow groove part. CONSTITUTION:A sub-groove 2 (depth g1) in the radial direction which connects main grooves 1 in the circumferential direction EE' of tire, and a lug groove 3 (depth G2) for connecting a shoulder part to the main groove 1 on a tread part, are provided in the tread pattern on the ground contacting width W of tire. In this structure, both or either of the sub-groove 2 and the lug groove 3 is formed into a shallow groove so as to have a depth (g) of 50-90% the average depth G1 of the main grooves 1. And, a recessed and projected part 4 having a height g1' of 30-80% the difference between the average depth G1 of the main groove 1 and the depth (g) of the shallow groove part, is provided on the groove bottom part of the shallow groove part. Thereby, the deterioration in traveling performance on snow road accompanying progress in the wear of tire can be restrained to the minimum. |
