DRESSER MOUNTED ONTO MACHINE

PURPOSE:To improve the dressing precision by installing a dresser onto a working table and carrying out the dressing work without demounting a grindstone for grinding from a shaping grinder. CONSTITUTION:After a grindstone 11 for grinding is positioned for a dresser 20 by indexing a grinding head 8, a main shaft 9 is revolved to revolve the grindstone 11 for grinding. Then, the hydraulic cylinder of the dresser 20 is operated to advance a grindstone 21 for dressing to the dressing position of the grindstone 11 for grinding. Then, a motor is started to revolve the grindstone 21 for dressing, and the grindstone 21 is cutting-fed for the grindstone 11 for grinding by revolving the motor. Then, the grindstone 21 for dressing is applied with the feed in the traverse direction by revolving the motor, and the grindstone 21 is applied with the swing movement around the circumscribed line of the grindstone 11 in order to round the grindstone 11 for grinding, and the grindstone 11 for grinding is dressing-worked.
