REMOTE CONTROLLER FOR VIDEO REPRODUCING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To attain a remote control through the dial operation of a timer action control and to improve operability by forming and transmitting a control command advances stepwise a timer set value at every prescribed rotating angle in correspondence to the rotation operational direction of a dial. CONSTITUTION:Through the selective operation of mode setting switches 25A and 25B, an interruption signal is inputted to the interruption port of a dial encoder microcomputer 24 to turn on a power source. A mode setting signal selected by operating the switches 25A and 25B is inputted to the computer 24 to set an action mode. In accordance with the selective operation of the switch 25A or 25B the computer 24 and an transmission encoder microcomputer 26 execute processing actions in the mode, and transmit the control command in the selected and set action mode from a transmission part 27.
