SWITCHING STRUCTURE FOR TIMEPIECE

PURPOSE:To improve the position accuracy of an external operating member, and also to prevent the external operating member from falling out, by constituting the titled structure so that one end of a switching spring inserts and holds a crest shape of the external operating member and also the position is determined by a groove of a receiving base. CONSTITUTION:A crest shape part of an external operating member 1 is inserted and held by one end of a forked side of a switching spring 2 which has been contained in a guide groove 3a of a receiving base 3, and positioned. Therefore, the accuracy of the guide groove 3a of the receiving base 3 becomes equal to the position accuracy of the external operating member 1, and an improvement of the accuracy can be realized. Also, when an impact load has been applied to the external operating member 1 from the outside, a shearing stress is applied to the switching spring 2 by the receiving base 3 and a large diameter part of the external operating member 1, and in case of exceeding the maximum stress, breakage is generated, but since a stress concentration can be forecast, an adjustment of a design can be executed speedily and delicately. On the contrary, with regard to falling-out of the external operating member 1, too, it does not fall out easily.
