Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain an acoustic damping material which has an excellent acoustic damping effect and excellent moldability and mechanical strength by using a composite resin compsn. essentially consisting of tungsten powder (A) and synthetic resin (B). CONSTITUTION:The acoustic damping material is constituted by molding a composite resin compsn. contg. (A) the tungsten powder and (B) the ethylene/ ethyl acrylate copolymer alone or a mixture composed of the ethylene/ethyl acrylate copolymer and polyamide or epoxy resin as the essential component. The tungsten powder (A) having usually about 1-100mum, more preferably 1-20mum average particle size is used. The using ratio of the tungsten powder, ethylene/ethyl acrylate copolymer and polyamide or epoxy resin is usually in an A/B=93/7-98/2 range by the weight of the tunsten powder (A) and the synthetic resin (B) and is more preferably in a 95/5-97.5/2.5 range in terms of the acoustic damping effect as well as the mechanical strength, moldability and balance.
