APPARATUS FOR MEASURING SPINDLE MOTOR

PURPOSE:To easily enable highly accurate testing measurement, by mounting a motor connection jig to the measuring shaft of a motor measuring part and supporting a spindle motor by a motor mount plate and providing a spindle position adjusting mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A spindle motor 35 to be measured is fixed to a motor mount plate 36 and a motor connection jig 33 is fixed to the indicated position of a measuring shaft 32. The adjusting dials 39a, 39b of a spindle position adjusting mechanism 37 are variably operated and the spindle part 11 of the spindle motor 35 is adjusted and set so as to be contacted with the contact rubber cushion 33a provided to the leading end of the motor connection jig 33 at a predetermined contact angle under predetermined contact pressure. Thereafter, the spindle motor 35 to be measured is rotationally operated and various motor characteristics transmitted to the side of the measuring shaft 32 through the motor connection jig 33 are measured by a testing measuring device 31. By this method, highly accurate testing measurement is enabled easily.
