Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition which can give a molding free of surface roughening and excellent in acid resistance, discoloration resistance and strength, by mixing an unsaturated polyester resin with a monomer, a curing agent and a specified filler. CONSTITUTION:An unsaturated polyester resin (A) is mixed with a monomer (B) (e.g., styrene), a curing agent (C) (e.g., peroxide), a filler (D) entirely or partially consisting of a fine calcium sulfate powder of an average particle diameter of 1-50 mu and/or a short calcium sulfate fiber which comprises long plate crystals having a length of 40-200 mu, a thickness of 0.5-5 mu and a length to thickness ratio of 20-100 (in an amount to provide 50-75 wt. %, based on the composition, fine calcium sulfate powder and/or short fiber) and, optionally, a shrinkage-lowering agent, a mold release, etc. (E).
