Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:The titled composition that contains 1,2-dihydropyridazine-3,6-dione salt and an alkyl sulfate ammonium as an auxiliary agent, thus being safe to food plants, because it forms extremely reduced hydrazine, even after long- term storage. CONSTITUTION:The titled composition contains a salt of 1,2-dihy dropyridazine-3,6-dione (MH) (preferably its choline salt) and an alkyl sulfate ammonium (alkyl has 8-22 carbon atoms) at a molar ratio of 1/0.02-1/0.5. The MH salt has actions to inhibit lateral bud germination in tobacco, to inhibit germination in potatos and onions and shoot overgrowth inhibition in fruit trees, and the combination thereof with the alkylsulfate ammonium inhibits the formation of hydrazine by partial decomposition during long-term storage.
