Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To prevent the adherence of ice to the platform of a marine structure by supplying electric current to each of plural heating sections separately. CONSTITUTION:The bottom deck 15 of a platform 11 is divided into plural heating sections, and an independent electric heater 17 is attached to the upside of the heating section. The heater 17 is supplied with electric current for a given time period and in a given order by a controller 23. The adherence of ice to the downside of the platform can thus by exactly prevented, and the amount of power to be consumed for removal of ice can be lessened.
