Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To equalize the thickness of a metallic oxide film regardless of the stain on the inner surface of a glass tube by applying a paint solution prepared by suspending and dispersing metallic oxide powder into a solution prepared by dissolving an aqueous binder into water, and forming a fluorescent film on it. CONSTITUTION:Metallic oxide powder composed of alumina is suspended and dispersed into a solution prepared by dissolving an aqueous binder consisting of polyethylene oxide into water and then adding a small amount of diluted nitric acid to adjust the pH level of the solution to at most 5, thereby a paint solution, being prepared. Next, the paint solution is applied to the inner surface of a glass tube 1 to form a thin alumina film 2. After that, a fluorescent film 3 is formed on the thin alumina film, 2 thereby producing a fluorescent lamp. Therefore, the pH level of the paint solution is restricted to equalize the thickness of the thin alumina film 2, thereby increasing the adhesive strength of the fluorescent film 3 regardless of the stain on the inner surface of the glass tube 1.
