Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To enable a power source to be switched smoothly and exactly to a by-pass power source, by zero-holding a phase regulating means with accident detection signal, and by setting the frequency of AC voltage for output generated from an inverter, forcibly to be a value approximating to reference frequency. CONSTITUTION:When an accident happens on a phase difference detector 11, a phase regulator 12, or the like controlling the output frequency of an inverter 5, the the abnormal state is detected by an accident detector 14. Accident detection signal is applied to the phase regulator 12 and an AND element 16. The phase regulator 12 is zero-held by the accident detection signal, and the frequency of AC voltage for output generated from the inverter 5 approximates to reference frequency. In other words, the frequency of AC voltage for output generated from the inverter 5 approximates to that of a by-pass power source 2. Input for the output of a synchronous detector 15 is provided by the AND element 16, and ON-command is applied to a by-pass changeover switch 3.
