RECORDING AND REPRODUCING DEVICE FOR MAGNETIC TAPE

PURPOSE:To aim at the miniaturization and the high accuracy of the operation timing of a device by providing a single turning board, a turning means that positions the turning board at a set mode position and single control board means that shifts directly according to the turning of the turning board. CONSTITUTION:In a VTR 1, by the turning of a single cam gear 3 at the lower surface side of a chassis 2 by a motor 4 through a worm gear mechanism 5, a single control board assembling body 6 is shifted in a parallel direction shown as arrows X1 and X2 and with operating each mechanism, the VTR is set in a stopping or reproducing (recording) mode. Each mechanism of the VTR 1, such as a pinch roller mechanism, a reel axis braking mechanism, etc. is arranged at the peripheral of the control board assembling body 6 and plural cams that operate a mechanism are formed on the control board assembling body 6. The plural cams are operated so as to fit the pinch roller mechanism and the reel axis braking mechanism, etc. to the set mode. Thus, with turning the single turning board and shifting the single control board means corresponding to a mode setting, the pinch roller mechanism and reel axis braking mechanism, etc. are operated.
