ORIGINAL IMAGE ROTATING SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To obtained an original image rotated by 90 degrees in a leftward or a rightward direction by accumulating picture elements of m-number of lines by n-number of digits consisting of the original image at m-pairs of shift registers of n-number of digits, reading out m-number of picture element groups at the leftmost or the right-most digit in order, and arranging them in m-number of lines by n-number of rows. CONSTITUTION:Picture elements E00-E77 consisting of the original image stored at a character type memory 11 are accumulated at shift registers 30-37. And by reading out in order the picture elements of the first row - the eight row with a left shift signal LR through a left read out gates 380-387, and accumulating them at the eight line - the first line on a left rotating memory 6, it is possible to obtain the original image rotated by 90 degrees in the leftward direction. Also, by reading out in order the picture elements of the eight row - the first row with a right shift signal RR through right read out gates 390-397, and accumulating them at the eight line - the first line on a right rotating memory 8, the original image rotated by 90 degrees in the rightward direction can be obtained.
