ATTRACTION TOOL

PURPOSE:To eliminate the fear of destructing the recorded information of a card, ticket or the like in which various informations are magnetically recorded, by placing soft magnet materials in contact with both sides of a permanent magnet or both sides and one magnetic pole face thereof, thereby fully reducing the leakage magnetic field of the attraction tool. CONSTITUTION:Soft magnetic materials 12 such as iron are fixed to both sides of a permanent magnet 11 such as ferrite with an adhesive such as epoxy resin. With this construction, the magnetic flux between both poles mostly passes through the soft magnetic material 12, and a leakage magnetic field 13 occurring between both poles, the N- and S- poles, of the permanent magnet 11 slightly occurs in the boundary portions wit the soft magnetic materials 12. Even with this construction, the portions of the soft magnetic materials 12 facing the N-pole side of the permanent magnet 11 are magnetized to the S-pole, the portions of the soft magnetic materials 12 facing the S-pole side of the permanent magnet 11 is magnetized to the N-pole, and the portion of the soft magnetic materials 12 also acts as a magnet, so that the reduction of the attraction is very small, and there is substantially no problem in using it as an attraction tool.
