AUTOMATIC ATOMIC ABSORPTION SPECTROMETER

PURPOSE:To make it possible to simply, easily and automatically perform the replacement of a cuvette with high reproducibility, by performing the mounting, detachment and replacement of the cuvette at a position where the cuvette is revolved by a cuvette holding apparatus. CONSTITUTION:A cuvette holding apparatus 12 is constituted so that an electrode supporting a cuvette 1 and an electrode holder 4 are mounted in a state revolvable by a predetermined angle upwardly from a horizontal mount state and returned to the original horizontal state after the cuvette 1 was replaced by a cuvette replacing device 8. When the cuvette 1 is replaced and the electrode and the electrode holder 4 are returned to the horizontal state, a gimlet is revolved at a predetermined position where a specimen is injected by an injection nozzle 10 by a gimlet-drilling apparatus 9 to bore a specimen injection hole. An automatic sampling apparatus 13 is constituted so that the specimen in the specimen cup 7 on a turntable 6 is injected in the specimen injection hole by the injection nozzle 10. These operations are entirely controlled by a computer and automatically performed in a cooperated state.
