FAX TRANSMITTER

PURPOSE:To prevent transmission from malfunction due to misreading by forming a transmitted destination registering memory for registering a specific transmitted destination at every user and comparing the registration No. of a transmitted destination stored in the memory with a read transmitted destination No. CONSTITUTION:An identification No. assigned to each user is stored in a user registering memory 1 and the ID No. of a user of a Fax transmitter is previously stored in an ID card. Plural transmitted destination telephone Nos. corresponding to plural user ID Nos. are registered in the transmitted destination registering memory 4. In case of transmission, the user ID No. is read out by an ID card reader 3 and collated with the contents of the memory 1 by a control circuit 2 to check the user. When an operator inputs an relative No. corresponding to the memory 4 registering the telephone No. of the transmitted destination, the relative No. is supplied to the memory 4 by a recording control circuit 5 to read out the telephone No. of the objective transmitted destination.
