Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain a food having a texture consisting of a number of aligned fiber aggregates, by extruding a food material through a multiple nozzle die of an extruder in the form of strings, drawing the extrudate under cooling with a cooling fluid, collecting the strings and taking off the collected product while regulating the cross-section of the product into a desired form. CONSTITUTION:A food material such as pet food, feed, snack food, etc., is heated and kneaded with an extruder 20 consisting of a cylinder 21, a screw 22, etc., extruded through a multi-nozzle die 24 in the form of strings and drawn while contacting with a cooling fluid to cool the strings. The drawn strands are collected, passed through a forming die 38 to reform to a desired cross-section and taken off with a take-off machine 44.
