PURPOSE:To suppress cogging and to improve the torque by inclining the orienta tion of the flux on both sides to the polar center line side except the central part of the pole. CONSTITUTION:A motor is composed of a rotor 3 in which a pole of the C-type permanent magnet is fixed to a yoke 2, a salient pole 4 equipped with a coil 5, and a rotating shaft 6. At this moment, the flux phi1 in the central part A of the pole 1 is oriented in parallel (radially) to the centre line L and the double end parts B is oriented inclined at an angle theta with respect to the radial line R to ward the centre line L side. Thus the flux density increases by 10-15% at the central part A of the pole. Therefore, while suppressing cogging, the torque can be improved.
