FORMING METHOD FOR IMPERMEABLE WALL

PURPOSE:To form an impermeable wall in poor subsoil, by backfilling a trench formed in steel frames with a filler. CONSTITUTION:Steel frames 1a, 1b consisting of two parallel steel plates are driven into the ground, and the interior is excavated to form a trench 3. Then, in the trench 3, the impermeable sheet 6 of synthetic resin or the like is wound up along the internal surface of the steel frames 1a, 1b. After that, the trench 3 is backfilled with a filler 7, and the steel frames 1a, 1b are pulled out, and by repeating the works in order, a continuous impermeable wall A is constructed. In this manner, the trench 3 is excavated by using the steel frames 1a, 1b, and so without worrying about the destruction of a trench wall, the trench wall is finished smooth, and so partial stress is not generated on the sheet 6. Besides, the strength and durability of the impermeable wall A can be enhanced.
