Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To maintain the constant rate characteristic in the amt. of the powder to be blown by detecting the layer thickness level of the powder flow in a powder supply outlet piping and controlling the supplying rate of a carrier gas in accordance with the signal thereof. CONSTITUTION:A thermocouple 16 is installed in the outlet piping 7 of a device for supplying preliminarily sintered ore and the powder layer level in the piping 7 is continuously monitored. A regulating valve 19 is regulated via a transmission system 17 by an automatic control device 18 for the amt. of the carrier gas to decrease the amt. of the carrier gas when the temp. difference between the upper limit of the level at which the thermocouple 16 is inserted into the pipe and the target decreases to about 300-500 deg.C or below. The amt. of the carrier gas is increased when the above-mentioned temp. difference exceeds about 300-500 deg.C. The amt. of the powder to be blown is maintained constant by the above-mentioned method even if the temp. and density of the powder changes.
