Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To improve the strength and wear resistance of a sintered Cu alloy as a sliding material for collecting current by adding specified amounts of Sn, Fe, FeMo, FeW, Cr, Pb, etc., to Cu. CONSTITUTION:This sliding material is a sintered alloy having a composition consisting of 1-5wt% Sn, 5-25wt% Fe, 10-25wt% one or more among FeMo, FeW and Cr, 1-5wt% (expressed in terms of Pb) Pb and 'Kelmet(R)' and the balance Cu. Since the material has such a low Sn content and contains Fe, the strength and wear resistance are improved. Pb is effective in maintaining the lubricity of the sintered body.
