WASHHAND UNIT PROVIDED WITH DEHUMIDIFYING FUNCTION

PURPOSE:To reduce humidity in the surrounding of the site of installation simply by a method wherein a fan for passing air through an air path and a dehumidifying device for dehumidifying the air, passing through the air path, are included in an air path forming member, incorporated integrally into a washhand stand. CONSTITUTION:A dehumidifying device, dehumidifying air passing through an air path 4 is equipped in a duct 3. The dehumidifying device is constituted of a refrigerating circuit and an evaporator 11, located at the comparatively upstream side of the air path 4, a condenser 12, located at the comparatively downstream side of the same, a compressor 13, pipeline connecting them and an expansion valve 14, provided on the pipeline between the evaporator 11 and the condenser 12, are included in the refrigerating circuit. According to this method, the air, flowing through the air path 4, touches the evaporator 11 at first and is dehumidified, subsequently, is heated by the condenser 12 and is blown out upwardly as dry air having substantially the same temperature as outdoor air. Discharged water, passing from a water receiving tank 16 through a water discharging pipe 18, and drain water for dehumidification, passing a drain pipe from the evaporator 11, are discharged into the same water discharging path.
