Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:An acaricide capable of controlling Tetranychidae from nits to imagoes, having proper residual activity, obtained by combining a macrotetrolide antibiotic with S-(4-phenoxybutyl)-N,N-dimethylthiocarbamate. CONSTITUTION:An acaricide comprising a blend obtained by combining one or more macrotetrolide antibiotics (e.g., nonactin, monactin, etc.,) shown by the formula (R1-R4 are lower alkyl) with S-(4-phenoxybutyl)-N,N- dimethylthiocarbamate in a ratio of preferably 1:0.1-10(pt.wt.), as an active ingredient. EFFECT:The acaricide has small possibility of development of resistance because of a few controlling times, can effectively control Tetranychidae in a wide range, further synergistically exhibit the effects, provides useful crops with no phytotoxicity and is safe for men and domestic animals.
