Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To obtain a calcium silicate hydrate aggregate, in which the calcium silicate is uniformly grown in voids, by reacting a siliceous material powder with limy raw material powder in the powder state in steam at a high temperature under a high pressure without adding water thereto. CONSTITUTION:Quartzite powder is uniformly mixed with slaked lime powder to give about 1 molar ratio CaO/SiO2 without adding water thereto. The resultant mixed raw material is then contained in an iron vessel and reacted at about 200 deg.C under steam pressure in an autoclave for about 10hr to produce a calcium silicate hydrate crystal aggregate.
