RESIN OUTSIDE PLATE SETTING STRUCTURE

PURPOSE:To improve positioning accuracy, by attaching a first outside plate to a bracket being fixed to a car body, and superposing a terminal of a second outside plate on a setting surface of the first outside plate by means of bolting, in case of a device which divides a resin outside plate into two outside plates and attaches them to the car body. CONSTITUTION:A setting surface 7 projecting in a car width direction is formed in the bracket 5 attached to a copper sheet car body 1 via a reinforced member 3, and a resin outside plate 9 is attached to the said surface 7. This outside plate 9 is halved to top and bottom, and both angular first and second setting surfaces 15 and 17 are formed in the first outside plate 11. The second setting surface 17 is superposed on the setting surface 7 of the bracket 5 and clamped with a bolt 19 and a nut 21. And, a terminal 23 of the second outside plate 13 is superposed on the first setting surface 15, and a bolt 27 is pierced through the joining part via a retainer 25, and a nut 29 is screwed in it whereby it is clamped tight. The retainer 25 is covered with ornamental chenille 31, and it should cover a head part 27a of the bolt 27.
