Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To change a pattern into a nonlinear form by converting the coor dinates of the graphic data into the coordinates changed into a nonlinear form. CONSTITUTION:When a user 6 looks at a graphic 8 and the meshes 8 displayed on a display 3, the user decides how any specific point and line of the meshes 7 to be deformed. The designations are given through an input device 5 to perform rotations so that the lines 20-30 pass through a point 18 and also the intersecting points between the lines 20-30 and a line 19 respectively. The points 9-12 are converted into points 33-36 together with the change of a form to be displayed in a graphic 32. Then the user 6 decides whether the deformed graphic is coincident or not with a desired one. If the desired graphic is obtained, each coordinate point is changed to the value converted by a conversion table.
