The operating lever 17 is pivoted by the weight to be detected by a detector 18 so that the descent of the elevator 3 is stopped and the plate-like work 1 is mounted on a transfer belt 12 which is rotated to take out and transfer the lowermost plate-like work 1. Thus, the plate-like work 1 can be correctly detected with respect to its position, taken out and received irrespective of its back condition and detected always at a certain position by its own weight so that the stopping position of the elevator 3 is not varied and the reliability of position detection and operation can be improved. |
