PAPER FEEDING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To maintain a paper feeding position always constant as laminated sheets are reduced, by providing a planet gear mechanism and a means interlocked with a sheet position detecting means for controlling said planet gear mechanism on a section for driving a lift mechanism of a bottom plate on which the laminated sheets are mounted. CONSTITUTION:Laminated sheets are mounted on a vertically movable bottom plate 1 to be forcibly fed out by a paper feed roller 2. And the height of the laminated sheets is detected by a detecting section 14b. When the uppermost surface of the laminated sheets S contacts the detecting section 14b, a press force of a brake shoe 14a against the peripheral surface of a disk 8 is reduced and the disk 8 begins to pivot about a shaft 3 so that gears 5, 6 constituting a planet gear mechanism revolve to stop the rotation of a gear 7, the pivoting of a bottom lifting member 13 through a sector gear 11 engaging the gear 7 and the lift of a bottom plate 1. Also, when one sheet is fed out, the detecting section 14b is lowered, the press force of the shoe 14a is increased, the disk 8 is fixed, the gear 11 is pivoted and the bottom plate 1 is lifted.
