Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To make a block body rotatable without installing a motor, by installing such a device that rotatively indexes an engaging part of the block body based on movement of an arm member and engages a workpiece. CONSTITUTION:Rope bodies 76, 78 and 94 are partially rolled on a part of each of block bodies 66, 68 and 90, stretched over arm members 26 and 28, and moved so as to rotatively index the specified engaging parts 72, 74 and 92 of these block bodies 66, 68 and 90 to an engaging position engaging a workpiece. A stopper body 120 is set up on a robot base 10 within the moving range of these arm members 26 and 28. This stopper body 120 makes these rope bodies 76, 78 and 94 relatively move to arm members 26 and 28 as these rope bodies 76, 78 and 94 are partially engaged on the basis of movements of these arm members, and it rotatively indexs these block bodies 66, 68 and 90. Therefore, a driving source for rotating these block bodies is no longer required.
