Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To measure the optical axis accurately with a small-scale equipment, by a method wherein a sensor is made to abut on the surface of a lens of a head lamp at more than two points and after it is made sure that the measurement of the optical axis is ready, the inclination of the lens surface is detected. CONSTITUTION:An industrial robot 2 and an optical axis measuring device 3 are arranged corresponding to right and left head lamp 1 at both side sections of a body conveying line and a laser oscillator 4 and a light receiving plate 5 are placed ahead. When a body 8 is positioned to inspect, a swing arm 17 is turned to the measuring position and a slide base 16 is retracted. With such an arrangement, a measuring head 21 is made to abut on the lens surface of the lamp 1 after it is made sure that the measurement is ready and then, a base 16 is stopped. A laser beam La from the oscillator 4 is reflected with a reflection mirror to be tilted following the tilt of lens surface set on the head 21 and received with the light receiving plate 5. Then, the optical axis is measured from the actually measured data. |
