FACSIMILE EQUIPMENT

PURPOSE:To obtain accurately the remaining amount of the recording paper by calculating the length of the recording paper used from the number of pulses which derive a pulse motor that carries the recording paper and then obtaining the remaining amount of the recording paper from the length of the recording paper used presently. CONSTITUTION:The feed amount of the recording paper 5 is controlled by the driving amount of a pulse motor 10 which revolves a platen roller 6 and the motor 10 is controlled by the control signal sent from a control circuit 1. The data writing/reading actions are controlled by the part 1 for a data memory 11 storing the original data read part 3 or the data undergone the signal processing. Furthermore the memory 11 stores the length data of the paper 5 supplied from the keyboard.
