DISC DRIVING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To improve the certainty and reliability of operation by operating a holder via a holder control lever. CONSTITUTION:A holder 7 and a cartridge 3 are operated directly within a prescribed range by a slide plate 4 and an engagement part 44e provided to the tip of a holder control lever 44 is formed nearly as a U-shape to regulate the movement of the holder 7 in the forward/reverse directions. After the cartridge 3 is ejected, a roller 45a is released from an engaging piece 6b, the slide plate 4 is restored in front slightly and the holder 7 is retrogressed slightly and the state is restored before the cartridge 3 is loaded. Since the loading and the ejection are applied by utilizing an elastic force of a spring 48 provided in parallel with a frame 1 at the lower face of the frame 1, the space factor is improved much and the device is made thin-walled.
