PERIPHERAL EQUIPMENT FOR PROGRAMMABLE CONTROLLER

PURPOSE:To manufacture uniformly a body, and to replace easily a key sheet and a ROM card by selecting and installing the key sheet and the ROM card of different specifications, with respect to a peripheral equipment body having a common part. CONSTITUTION:Plural kinds of key sheets having plural keys 6, and ROM cards 8 provided with a control part consisting of a ROM are manufactured to match specifications of a peripheral equipment. Also, on the surface of a programming unit body 10, an indicator 11 is provided, and on its one side, an interface 12 connected to a CPU unit is provided. The key sheet 5 and the ROM card 8 which are made to conform with specifications of a programming unit and a teaching unit are coupled by connectors 7, 9, and installed to a connector 13 of the body 10. At the time of a fault or a maintenance check of the key sheet 5 or the ROM card 8, it is detached from the connector 13.
