ROLLING METHOD

PURPOSE:To produce not only wide flange beams but also products having all shapes by installing combination mills near a universal mill or incidentally thereto and executing rolling. CONSTITUTION:The combination mills 8a, 8b provided with horizontal rolls 2, 3 and vertical rolls 4, 5 having prescribed roll shapes freely adjustable in roll gaps according to rolling shapes via respective combination stands 6, 7 are freely replaceably installed near the universal mill 1 to be equipped in a rolling line or incidentally thereto. Production of not only the wide flange beam 13 but also a plate 16, round bar, channel steel, angle steel, etc. is thus made possible by the combination of the universal mill 1 and the mill 8a or 8b.
