DATA INPUT DEVICE

PURPOSE:To avoid such a case where the use of a data input device is possible just with owing a key or knowing an operator code, by using a leave-seat key and a responsible person key and securing the use of the data input device only when the correlation is obtained with an identification number set separately from the ON and OFF states of said two keys. CONSTITUTION:A keyboard 1 and a responsible person switch key 2 are connected to a gate circuit 4. An identification number signal (a) and a specific number signal (b) extracted out of the outputs of the circuit 4 are supplied to a state control circuit together with the output of a leave-seat key 3 which disables the input of keys while an operator leaves his/her seat. The general data signal (c) is supplied to a main control circuit/memory 7. The circuit 5 produces the card signal (d) and the clock signal (e) and is connected to a display device 8 as well as to the input terminal of an OR gate 6. While the output terminal of the gate 6 is connected to the circuit 4. An alarm device 9 produces alarms when the memory 7 is locked.
