MEASURING DEVICE FOR CAR

PURPOSE:To carry out measuring easily and accurately without making a mistake in operating and reading, and enable measuring only by one person by assembling measuring parts for engine speed, advance, and voltage in a single case, and switchingly indicating the measured results on a common digital indicating part. CONSTITUTION:An engine speed measuring part for an engine 2, an advance measuring part for adjusting ignition timing, and a voltage measuring part for car-loaded equipment are assembled in a body case 1. Each of the measuring parts switches a changeover switch 3 selectively to a position of any of a tachometer, an advance meter, and a voltmeter and indicates a measured value on a digital indicating part 4. A timing light which is assembled in the end part of the body 1, makes a flash which is directed to the timing mark 5 of the rotary part 2a of the engine 2 and the indicating needle 6 of its fixed part 2b, radiate the digital indicating part 4 at a right angle at a defined timing, and the flash timing can be controlled by an advance volume 8. Accordingly, measuring can be carried out easily and accurately with a selector switch 3 by only one person without making a mistake in operating and reading.
