EXAMPLE:2-{4-(2-Hexyldecanamido)benzoylamido}-1,4-dimethoxybenzene. USE:A photographic color mixture inhibitor having improved activity and stability. PREPARATION:2,5-Dihydroxyaniline is subjected to amidation reaction with an arylcarboxylic acid chloride or the amidation reaction is carried out in the form of introduced protecting group, e.g. alkyl group, acyl group, benzyl group, etc., into the hydroxyl group and then the protecting group is removed to afford the aimed compound expressed by the formula.
