WARMING PLASTER

PURPOSE:A package made of a crosslinked and highly foamed polyethylene board is filled with a chemical heat-generator, then the active ingredient layer, the adhesive layer and the release paper layer are laminated on the backside of the package to prepare a warming plaster that gives good feeling, when applied, and manifests excellent therapeutic effect for various diseases. CONSTITUTION:A package 2, which is composed of, e.g., a crosslinked, highly foamed polyethylene board at least on one side surface to restrict the feed of oxygen, is filled with a chemically heat-generating mixture to form a heat- generating layer 1. A plaster with active ingredients adhered is laminated on the backside of the package filled with the heat generator 3, further an adhesive layer 13 consisting of an adhesive and release paper is laminated on the active ingredient layer. Finally, the 3-layered laminate are fused on the peripheral edges 4' to form the objective warming plaster. The package 2 is softer and more elastic than other packages made of synthetic resin nonwoven fabrics or paper, gives good feeling, when applied, with heat transfer and retention improved. The plaster according to the present invention is simple in structure, mass-productive and high in its efficacy.
