PREPARATION OF COLOR FILTER

PURPOSE:To form a simple inexpensive mass-producible striped filter high in quality by repeating the exposure of a colored photopolymer to a prescribed pattern and its development, and the transfer of an obtained colored pattern to a substrate. CONSTITUTION:The photopolymer layer contg. the colorant of one hue prepared by coating on a support and drying is exposed through the prescribed pattern mask, developed to form the pattern on the support, and this pattern is transferred to the surface of a transparent substrate. This operations in the same order are repeated with respect to the color photopolymers having other hues. by the prescribibed number of the operations to form the color filter.
