The audio signal passing an automatic gain control part 3 or a manual gain control part 7 is subjected to a processing corresponding to the mode of recording, reproducing, stop, or the like of the device by an audio processing part 4, and the audio signal is sent to an audio head 5, an automatic gain control part 8, and a line output. The control part 8 sets the input level varied in a wide range to a proper level and sends this set level to an RF modulating part 6, and the audio signal is modulated to an RF modulated signal there.
