LINEAR CUTTER

PURPOSE:To facilitate changing of cutting length thus to improve the workability of cutter by providing stoppers for setting plural lengths with correspondence to the cutting length and executing selection through remote control. CONSTITUTION:Length setting stoppers 2 are arranged at the position corresponding with the cutting length of iron wire 4 by the number corresponding with the number of cutting length. The stoppers 2 are selected through remote control to lower the length setting stopper selected through operation of an air-cylinder 1 thus to set the cutting length of iron wire. Then a cutter 3 is started to feed the iron wire 4 linearly and contact against the stopper 2 where it is cut by a cutter board 6 into predetermined length and discharged.
