METHOD FOR CONTINUOUSLY PAINTING METAL PLATE

PURPOSE:To uniformize the thickness of a film and to enhance close adhesiveness, in again unwinding a metal plate wound up in a coil form after pretreatment to paint the same, by preheating a paint to about control temp. CONSTITUTION:A metal plate to be painted receives pretreatment such as degreasing or chemical forming treatment in order to enhance paint close adhesiveness and once wound up in a coil form. Subsequently, the metal plate H is successively passed through a support roll 5, a coating roll 1, a back-up roll 5, a back surface coater 8, a baking oven 6 and a cooling chamber 7 while unwound from an uncoiler 9 and the metal plate H1 after painting is wound up by a recoiler 10. Herein, the metal plate at the point of time when wound up once after pretreatment is easy to generate dew condensation by the lowering in temp. and the rising in humidity and the processability of a film is lowered. In order to prevent these defects, the metal plate H is preheated in a warm air oven 11 before reaches the point of time or painting and the temp. thereof is detected by a temp. measuring device 12.
